TANOKE welcomes Kankiku Meijo of Chiba, Japan for an intimate sake pairing dinner.​ Created as a journey through the distinctive expressions of Kankiku, the evening brings together four selected sakes, each thoughtfully paired with a specially curated course.

Guests will enjoy four distinctive Kankiku sakes, including Sake Mirai 50 Wonderland and selections from the OCEAN99 series, thoughtfully paired with a four-course menu featuring Hokkaido Scallops Carpaccio, Grilled Hyogo Oysters, Japanese F1 Wagyu Striploin or Gindara Teriyaki, and Sata Andagi, creating a refined journey through the harmony of food and sake.

ABOUT KANKIKU

Founded in 1883, Kankiku Meijo is a historic sake brewery located near the Kujukuri coast in Chiba, Japan, where the Pacific climate, local spring water and quality rice have shaped its brewing for more than 140 years.

Respecting its long brewing heritage while continuing to innovate, Kankiku creates expressive sake that reflects the character of its surroundings and complements the flavours of food. Guided by its philosophy of “Brewing to satisfy the soul,” the brewery brings together traditional craftsmanship, careful quality control and a contemporary approach to sake making.

What is included in the Kankiku Sake Pairing Dinner?
The experience includes a specially curated four-course menu by TANOKE, paired with four selected sakes from Kankiku Meijo.

Is payment required when making a reservation?
Yes. Full payment is required at the time of reservation to secure your seat. Your reservation is confirmed once payment has been successfully completed.

Can I cancel my reservation and receive a refund?
A full refund is available for cancellations made at least 72 hours before the event. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the event and no-shows are non-refundable.

Will I be seated with other guests?
This is a communal dining experience, and guests may be seated together with other attendees at shared tables.

Can dietary restrictions or allergies be accommodated?
As the event features a fixed menu, alternative options may be limited. Please inform us of any dietary restrictions or allergies in advance, and we will advise on available options.
